Justin Sandberg and his team worked well together with the timber frame erectors and the clients to deliver an excellent building with quality finishes. The contractors showed a positive attitude to health and safety and found solutions to the various queries and problems during the contract.

In this day and age one can never be too careful whom they select to undertake a building project and JJ-Construction was recommended by a close friend and colleague.

I was most impressed by the discussion during our first meeting. I was given some informative and constructive advice to aid with a smooth running project. The standard and quality of workmanship was first class throughout. The site was left in a tidy manner with all rubbish cleared away each day. The build was completed in a timely manner, and I for one would most definitely use JJ-Construction for future projects.

Williamson Developments has worked along side JJ Construction for the last 7 years on many builds that I have project managed and I can honestly say we have always had 100% commitment from Justin and his team. Whether it has been a timber frame or a conventional build, an extension or a new build, deadlines have always been met and the workman ship has always been to a excellent standard. My Clients have commented on how stress free the build has been having one main contractor on site. I have used JJ Sandberg Construction for all areas of building work from foundations to completed barn conversions and smaller jobs such as patios to garden walls. They are always fantastic at sorting out problems that may occur and it has always been a pleasure to have the knowledge and experience that JJ Sandberg Construction brings, We have built up a good working relationship over the years and I hope it will continue.

Justin was recommended to us by English Brothers Timber Frames as someone who was experienced with their products and had a proven track record of building locally to our area.

We were very impressed by Justin from the outset, we wanted to be involved at every stage of the build and be part of the project management and hands on labouring/building, he was happy to work with us and didn’t try to take over but added his experience and input wherever and whenever required. His flexible approach and desire to ensure we got what we wanted was a great asset, he brought in a great team of trades who all worked together seamlessly and this was a key part of us staying on budget and on schedule, completing the build in 7 months.

Though we put a lot of ourselves into the build and ensured our input was on time and available to the trades when required, much of the project success was due to Justin’s involvement. We have already recommended him to a number of other projects and would not hesitate to do so again and most importantly we would happily work with him again ourselves.’

We bought an old, small Norfolk County Council farmers cottage built in 1937 in a few acres of ground and surrounded by open country in 2008 with the express intention of renovating and extending it to create family accommodation with a fully independent “Granny Flat” on the ground floor for my Mother.  Once past the planning stage in 2011 we went out for a series of quotations and at that point JJ Sandberg Construction and Justin stood out as the one business that actually carefully considered our plans, asked a lot of questions, made suggestions, and took the time to come back on a couple of the more technically difficult issues in the proposed build.  Our decision to go with Justin was proven right in that throughout the build he was supportive of changes and careful to ensure the structural integrity of the original 4 walls (all that was left of the original cottage) was maintained enabling us to tie in a wood frame, two story extension doubling the floor space and giving us a 4 bedroom home with Granny Flat.

JJ Construction was also willing to work closely with some specialist contractors who installed a biomass and solar heating system and to accommodate some of the items we wanted to do ourselves on finishing. They also coped efficiently with interruption to the original build plan from circumstances outside their control working efficiently to complete the programme as soon as it was possible to do so. I would certainly use JJ Construction again and have already made recommendations to a couple of people to do so, assuring them that they will get the job they want done and to a high standard.
